San Antonio Sound Garden

San Antonio Sound Garden is a non-profit organization that exists to unite and ignite the music industry in San Antonio by providing local musical artists and entrepreneurs with resources, networking and mentorship, and performance opportunities.

One of our Founders worked closely with this non-profit organization as an Executive Consultant and assisted on the SA Music Industry Study.  Follow the link to learn more about this study and how it has transformed the creative economy in San Antonio.

The Study

Southside First and The Quintana Neighborhood Re-Development

Southside First Economic Development Council is an initiative launched by the South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Foundation to be the voice of economic prosperity, community bridging and responsible development for the Southside (South San Antonio/South Bexar County). The 15-member board reflects a cross-section of community members, businesses and Southside institutions. Its primary role is to be a convener and to assist in facilitating programs, services or partnerships that move forward the Council’s goals of investment, engagement and accountability.

Southside First is a 501(c)3 non-profit.

One of our Founders led the strategic planning session with South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and Southside Business leaders that led to the formation of Southside First. Our Officers supported Southside First during their fund development strategy and with their initial request for City funding. We continue to stay involved on this project, now focusing efforts on the re-development of an underserved

neighborhood on San Antonio's Southside.

The Work

Urban Future Lab

Located in the fastest growing city in the United States, the Urban Future Lab explores the rapidly changing dynamics of urban futures. Led by Dr. Antonio Petrov, the interdisciplinary non-profit think-and-do-tank and research and teaching lab at the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) calls for action through research, data advocacy, and citizen agency. In response to ongoing global, ecological, and economic challenges, our mission is to identify conditions of human and environmental inequality, transcending them as they advance social and civic innovation design.

Our Founders will be leading strategic planning sessions with the Urban Future Lab and assist them in development a 2 year plan along with a fund development strategy.
